This Privacy Policy explains how Wetaran Tech Private Limited ("Wetaran", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use our website and our Wetaran Pharma and Wetaran HDMS platforms (together, the "Services"). We process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable Indian law.

Wetaran Tech Private Limited is a company incorporated in India (CIN U62010MH2026PTC471869), with its registered office at Dynasty Business Park, Level 4, Unit 401, A-Wing, Andheri Kurla Road, Andheri East, Mumbai 400059, Maharashtra, India. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Wetaran is the Data Fiduciary in respect of the personal data described in this policy.
2. Data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we collect the following categories of data:
2.1 Enquiry and contact data
When you submit our website contact form, we collect your name, company name, phone number, email address and any message you choose to provide.
2.2 Account and business data
When a chemist, stockist, distributor or brand registers to use the Services, we collect business and identifying details, which may include the business name, contact person, phone number, email address, drug licence details, GST registration number and address.
2.3 Order and transaction data
When you place, receive or fulfil orders on the Services, we record transaction details, including products, quantities, prices, applicable trade schemes, and the parties to each transaction.
2.4 Device and technical data
We collect technical information from the devices used to access the Services, which may include device identifiers, operating system and version, app version, IP address and diagnostic or crash information.
2.5 Location data
Our mobile applications may collect location data to support field operations such as order capture, outlet verification and route planning. Where location data is collected, it is used for these operational purposes and you may control location permissions through your device settings.
3. How we use your data
We use personal data to: provide, operate and maintain the Services; create and manage accounts; process and route orders between the relevant parties; apply and reconcile trade schemes; provide support and respond to enquiries; secure the Services and prevent misuse; produce aggregate, market-level analytics; and comply with legal obligations.
Analytics and business intelligence produced from transaction data are aggregate and market-level. We do not create patient-level or individual-consumer profiles.
4. Legal basis
We process personal data on the basis of the consent you provide, and for certain legitimate uses permitted under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including where processing is necessary to provide a service you have requested and to comply with law. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time as described in Section 8.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as follows:
With other parties to a transaction, to the extent necessary to complete it. For example, when a chemist places an order, the relevant stockist receives the order details required to fulfil and bill it.
With service providers who process data on our behalf, such as cloud hosting and content delivery providers, and analytics providers (including Google Analytics), under contractual obligations of confidentiality and security.
Where required by law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.
6. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics, to understand how the site is used and to improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some features of the site.
7. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Services, to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes and to enforce our agreements. When data is no longer required for these purposes, we delete or anonymise it.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to seek correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete data, to seek erasure of your data, to withdraw consent, and to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity. We implement reasonable security safeguards intended to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and loss. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
